How is Mitsu Dan's acting in Hanzawa Naoki? Is she good or bad?

Hanzawa Naoki (TBS) has been receiving praises left and right for each episode, as episode 4 got 27.6% (highest at 30.0%).

One of the scenes which garnered the highest spike in ratings was when Hanzawa (Masato Sakai) and the club hostess (Mitsu Dan) faced off. Mitsu Dan plays the role of the lover of Higashida who tricked the bank where Hanzawa is working for \500 million. Her character has been shrouded in mystery, but her screen time drastically increased in episode 4.

でも、表情は悪くなかった

She's got a disappointing voice, she recites her lines monotonously,
but her facial expressions aren't bad.

You guys shouldn't be expecting any sort of acting prowess from these people who started off as gravure idols.
Even some of the true actors aren't that good themselves LOL

But well, I don't think there's anyone who's worse than MAKIDAI.

しゃべらなかった第三話までは妙にキャラにあってたんだがな

セリフがあると駄目だったな

Her weird and mysterious character suited her until episode 3 when she wasn't talking at all.
Everything went down the drain once she started talking.

あまりいい人生を歩んでこれなかった意地張ったホステスっぽくてさ

She may be hamming it up, but in a good way. I think her bad acting actually makes her more believable as this proud hostess who never lived a good life.

That was good, I'm actually wishing for a part 2 of that one.
That was a drama where I actually saw appeal in the female cast of which I never had any expectations.

檀蜜は裏の世界を知ってる顔をしてるのがいいね。普通の女優にはない陰がある。

I like how Mitsu Dan looks like she knows the dark sides of the world. She has that dark shadow about her which no other regular actress possesses.

声優の吹き替えでいいよ、洋画みたいに

She does look like a mistress, and it would be better if she doesn't have any dialogue.
The scenes just transform into gags because of her voice LOL
They should dub her voice over, like the foreign films.

She is a bad actress, but I think foreigners like the Chinese will also act like this when you make them talk in Japanese. 
So maybe they could just change her background and say that she came from China, or something.

壇蜜の持つ雰囲気と役柄がぴったりと合ってる。そういう場合は演技力なんて問題じゃないわ。

このキャスティング一発でもう既に勝ってるんだよ。それに表情は良かったしねぇ

I think Mitsu Dan's distinct atmosphere fits her character perfectly. Her acting isn't the problem here.
Her being cast in this role is already a victory for the show. And her facial expressions are actually good.
