Actress Ryoko Shinohara was on an-an's Sept.4 issue cover.
In the interview, she said:
"Honestly, the thing I want to do the most right now is to sing."

Shinohara's song "Itoshisa to, setsunasa to, kokorodzuyosa to" was a major hit when she was 21.
"The song didn't become a hit because of my abilities. It became popular because of Tetsuya Komuro-san".

I think Shinohara wasn't particularly successful since she primarily played supporting roles until her dramas Anego, Unfair, and Haken no hinkaku became hits.
